ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will preside over a meeting of
the federal cabinet today (Thursday).
According to the sources, the cabinet will review the performance of th
e government and Finance Minister (FM) Asad Umar will brief the cabinet members regarding negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Yesterday, PM had said that Pakistan might not have to approach the IMF for a bailout.
In a meeting with journalist bodies, including the All Pakistan Newspapers Association (APNS), Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) and Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), the prime minister expressed the hope that th

t would be able to fix economic issues soon with its policies.
